Post subject:  Cambrian Bird Report 2016

THE COS Report covering Anglesey, Caernarfonshire & Meirionnydd records for 2016 was posted out to members just before Christmas. It includes the systematic List (166 pages), SCAN Ringing Report for 2015/6 by Dorian Moss, and an article on 'Morfa Madryn Reserve, its management and birdlife' by Ian Hawkins, also 8 remarkable colour plates including Booted Warbler, Hawfinch and the Cemlyn Wryneck with its long tongue protruding! The Madryn article was first published in the WOS journal in 2017 but will be of interest to all North Wales birders.
The 2016 Cambrian Bird Report is on sale at RSPB Conwy for £7, or by post from me for £7.50 (send cheque payable to Cambrian Ornithological Soc to: Fronwen, Valley Rd, Llanfairfechan LL33 0ET).
